FALL RIVER – Paul Coogan has secured another term in the mayor’s office. The incumbent Democrat defeated Republican Gabriel “Boomer” Amaral Tuesday by 225 votes to secure reelection as Fall River mayor, WPRI-TV CBS 12 reported.
