More than 100 youths and family members from the Boys & Girls Clubs of
Warwick; Providence CityArts for Youth; Newport Community School and South Kingstown CARES attended the Feb. 19 men’s basketball game between the
University of Rhode Island and the University of Massachusetts. They were at the Ryan Center courtesy of URI and Cox Communications, in celebration of the
10-year anniversary of Cox Charities. Since 2001, Cox Charities has provided $5.6 million in grants and in-kind support to more than 100 organizations in Rhode Island and Connecticut.
