LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Real estate publisher Network Communications Inc. Thursday announced its acquisition of New England Home magazine, which was launched in September 2005 by former R.I. Monthly publisher Dan Kaplan.
Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Kaplan will continue to run the publication, and all 17 employees will remain on board, the company said.
“Dan Kaplan and his team have done a phenomenal job launching New England Home,” said Adam Japko, president of NCI’s Home Improvement and Design division. “…We are thrilled to have them join the NCI family.”
From its initial edition’s 180 pages, the bi-monthly magazine has grown to 324 pages, gaining more than 250 advertisers and achieving a circulation of 60,000.
Network Communications Inc., a leading publisher of printed and online real estate information, was acquired by Citigroup Venture Capital Equity Partners in January 2005. Additional information can be found at www.nci.com.
