Daniel Egan has been named to the board of directors of the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities. Egan currently holds the position of president of the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Rhode Island. Egan has a B.A. in history from Providence College and an M.A. in higher education from Boston College. •
