David J. Richards has been named assistant vice president in the claims executive department of Amica Mutual Insurance Co. Richards is a graduate of Siena College and has been with the company since 1980, when he began as a claims adjuster. Since then, he has worked a variety of positions within the company, including adjuster, supervisor, examiner and claims manager. •
