PROVIDENCE – The Diocese of Providence announced to parishioners Sunday that two pairs of churches will be merging while one in Exeter will be formally dissolved, according to multiple news outlets.  First, Saint Thomas the Apostle Parish in Warren will merge into Saint Mary of the Bay Parish. The Saint Thomas building at 500 Metacom Ave.
