Nicolle Doucette, co-owner and founder of The Yellow Comb salon in Smithfield, had reached a point in her styling career where she was ready to take that next step. She toured the house-style salon on Putnam Pike four days after getting married and signed the lease the following week. “It checked every box,” she said.
