Dr. John Murphy, director of graduate medical education at Lifespan, was recently selected as a 2005 Continence Care Champion in family medicine by the National Association for Continence (NAFC). The award recognizes contributions in areas of research, patient education and advances in clinical practice of the discipline. Murphy was nominated by specialists in the field of continence as well as members of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
