PROVIDENCE – An unusual, open-layout home on the East Side of Providence sold recently for slightly more than $1.5 million, the 21st sale of a single-family home exceeding $1 million this year, according to Residential Properties Ltd.
The house at 400 Blackstone Blvd. last sold in September 2015 for $925,000, according to online property records.
It has a modern aesthetic with an open-floor plan, a large custom kitchen, a walnut-paneled family room with wet bar and a travertine stone fireplace, according to a property description. It has a landscaped backyard with a patio and garden, and a separate master wing with custom ensuite bathroom.
The buyer in the recent transaction was represented by Kira Greene, a sales associate with Providence-based Residential Properties.
The sale was announced Sept. 7.
