Michael Haynes wins award for Warwick Area carpentry program The Associated General Contractors of America, Inc. (AGC) honored Michael Haynes, an instructor at the Warwick Area Career and Technical Center, with its Vocational Education National Award. He received the award for his accomplishments in developing the school’s carpentry program. Haynes was presented a plaque and a check for $1,000. The school, which serves tenth-through-twelfth grade students from East Greenwich, Warwick and West Warwick, received a plaque as well.
