Edward S. Sternick has been named physicist-in-chief for Rhode Island Hospital’s department of radiation oncology.
He will manage medical physics clinical operations and spearhead the growth of research and teaching programs.
Sternick was previously a clinical professor and director of medical physics at the New England Medical Center/Tufts University School of Medicine for more than 25 years.
