Explosion at E.P. plant contributes to Aspen Aerogels’ Q2 $23.3M loss

ASPEN AEROGELS Inc. on Thursday reported a net loss of $23.3 million in the second quarter compared to the $9 million deficit the company reported a year prior. 

EAST PROVIDENCE – Aspen Aerogels Inc. on Thursday reported a loss of $23.3 million in the second quarter that included a temporary plant shutdown, compared to the $9 million deficit the company reported a year ago.  Aspen posted a loss of 28 cents per diluted share compared to the loss of 11 cents per diluted
