How has your company adapted programs and services in response to challenges such as workforce shortages and staff burnout? We make efforts to solicit help from other departments, encourage employees to use their paid time off, insurance wellness benefits, and treat our teams to lunch to build a team environment and show our appreciation.
What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? Each year we host an employee appreciation event with food, music, games and prizes. It is the one night of the year that we all gather just to celebrate each other. This event is highly attended (typically 90% of employees attend). We also host family-friendly events such as Take your Child to Work Day, a children’s holiday party and Halloween trick or treat.
Describe a new employee benefit(s) or initiative(s) your company has launched in the past 12 months. This year we started an Angel Fund. Through this fund, any employee can nominate another for a $1,000 grant. In four months, we have seen nominations for loss of a spouse, health battles and other life-altering hardships.
