FALL RIVER — Fall River Five Cents Savings Bank was recently listed on the “Top
Ten Electronic Transfer Account Providers to Date” by the U.S. Department of the
Treasury. The bank has teamed up with the Treasury to offer the new ETA, a low-cost
account that allows federal payment recipients to take advantage of electronic
funds transfer.
“By offering ETA, Fall River Five is expanding access and services in its community, and is enhancing its Community Reinvestment Act rating — which measures how well it serves the public,” said Don Hammond, of the U.S. Treasury.
