FirstFed America Bancorp, Inc., based in Swansea, Mass., announced yesterday the appointment of Benjamin Cavallo to its board of directors. Cavallo was formerly on the board of People’s Savings Bank, which was acquired by FirstFed in February.
FirstFed stockholders also re-appointed Gilbert C. Oliveira and Paul A. Raymond to the board. KPMG LLP was also re-appointed as the bank’s independent auditor.
The appointments were made at the company’s annual meeting on Thursday.
