PROVIDENCE – Looking for locals to lease the land, Providence-based Southside Community Land Trust is advertising available plots in two of its community gardens.
The organization would prefer leasees be from the surrounding communities, but according to the statement “are making them available to others” so the opportunity does not go unclaimed.
The two gardens with available plots are the 485 Charles Street Community Garden in Providence and Galego Farm in Pawtucket. Plots are $25 per year. More information can be found by contacting Andrew Cook at andrew@southsideclt.org or by phone at (401) 273-9419 ext. 107.
