Gas-to-energy project is tangible progress

Moving beyond talk and promises in the effort to reach the state’s 15-percent mandate for electricity from renewable resources has been predictably slow. But unlike the grand promise and potential pitfalls of offshore wind energy, a gas-to-electric power-plant expansion project announced last week for the state Central Landfill (READ MORE) offers a step toward that
