Geoffrey J. Wagner has been hired as vice president, commercial lender at The Washington Trust Company, based in Westerly. He joins the bank’s Providence-based commercial lending team. Wagner is responsible for business development and will manage a commercial portfolio. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rhode Island. Wagner lives in Tiverton.
