George A. Vecchione, president and CEO of Lifespan, has been elected to the board of The Providence Mutual Fire Insurance Co.
Before joining Lifespan in 1998, he had held executive positions at several New York hospitals.
Vecchione is a graduate of St. Francis College and received a master’s degree in health care management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
