PROVIDENCE – HarborOne Bank recently opened applications for its seventh annual small-business pitch contest, according to a news release.
The annual pitch competition offers small businesses in Rhode Island and Massachusetts a $10,000 prize to launch or expand their operations, including a new product or service. Applicants must submit a business overview, financial information, proposed job creation and answer questions, including how they would use the money.
Entries are screened by a panel of business experts, who choose eight finalists to compete in a live pitch competition, with the winner announced on Sept. 27, the release stated.
