PROVIDENCE – HarborOne Bank has promoted Richard Sullivan and George Sadler to the position of first vice president.
Their new roles are in recognition of the “substantial contributions” both men have made to the Brockton, Mass.-based bank’s commercial business, particularly its commercial real estate portfolio, the bank said.
Together, Sullivan’s and Sadler’s contributions to the bank’s commercial division have helped shape the “transformation” of the bank’s balance sheet and positioned HarborOne for a “stronger margin performance,” the bank said.
A resident of Plymouth, Mass., Sullivan joined the bank in July 2011. Sadler, who resides in Rehoboth, Mass., joined the bank in April 2014.
“I congratulate both Richard and George on their well-deserved promotions,” said Joseph Casey, HarborOne’s president and chief operating officer. “Both individuals have been consistent top producers who have brought an extraordinary amount of profitable business, including loans, deposits and fee income to the bank.”
The bank’s announcement didn’t specify whether the positions for Sullivan and Sadler were newly created or were vacated by others. It also didn’t specify Sullivan’s and Sadler’s previous positions with the bank.
With $3.7 billion in assets, HarborOne said it is the largest state-chartered cooperative bank in New England. It serves consumers, businesses and municipalities in eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island, with a network of 24 full-service branches, one limited-service branch and commercial loan offices in Boston and Providence.
