Gerhard M. Friehs, MD has joined Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket. A neurosurgeon, he is a graduate of the medical school at the Karl-Franzens University in Austria, where he also completed an internship and a clinical residence in neurosurgery. Freihs completed a research residency in neurosurgery at the University of Minnesota. He has received several awards for research on Parkinson’s disease and is an assistant professor of neurosurgery at Brown University.
