WARWICK – The Hilb Group of New England recently acquired a Massachusetts human resources consultant the insurer expects will augment its existing services.
Hilb, with offices in Warwick, acquired Mansfield-based HR Knowledge in November and announced the deal last week. Financial details of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
HR Knowledge, which provided human resources-related services for businesses of all sizes, will now serve Hilb’s human resources clients.
“With access to HR Knowledge’s expanded resources and team of seasoned professionals, Hilb can provide current and future HR consulting clients with the added solutions and expertise they need to improve their operational processes while reducing exposure, risk and internal HR administrative costs,” said Rob Calise, managing director of employee benefits at Hilb.
Hilb provides risk management, insurance and employee-benefit consulting to middle-market companies and individuals.
