Immunex will be holding a groundbreaking for the company’s new biotech center at 40 Technology Way in West Greenwich tomorrow at 2 p.m.
Governor Lincoln Almond will be attending the ceremony, as will Immunex chairman, CEO and president Ed Fritzky, executive vice president and COO Peggy Phillips and West Greenwich Town Council president Thaylen Waltonen.
When completed, the center will be the largest cell manufacturing facility in the world and will employ about 350 biotechnology workers.
