WARWICK, R.I. — Infinite Group, Inc., a laser material processing, tooling, advanced manufacturing methods and laser application technology company, has formed a new subsidiary.
The subsidiary, Infinite Photonics, Inc. will be used to commercialize production of the company’s new laser diode devices. Prototype testing of the diode devices has been completed, and the company said it is getting set to move from prototype quantities to pilot manufacturing quantities. Infinite Group is exploring options for where it will manufacture the devices, and has begun interviewing candidates for technical positions within the subsidiary, Bruce J. Garreau, CFO, told PBN.com.
