NEWPORT – The IYRS School of Technology & Trades will host a Career Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on March 23.
The event is sponsored by the school, Rhode Island Marine Trades Association, Real Jobs Rhode Island and the Composites Alliance of Rhode Island.
According to IYRS, more than 50 employers in maritime trades, composites, manufacturing, design and innovation, and carpentry will be on hand for networking and information, including exhibitors such as A&G Industrial Services, Block Island Marina, Cay Electronics, General Dynamics Electric Boat, Aquidneck Custom Composites, Sky Climber Renewables and Mark Richey Woodworking.
The Career Day is free to attend and is open to the public.
