Jay Murphy of Wakefield has been hired as an account executive at Bank of Newport Insurance Services. He is responsible for sales and servicing of commercial accounts. He had worked for Search Partners of Providence where he was an executive recruiter. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston College and currently serves as vice president of the Boston College Club of Rhode Island.
