PBN 40 UNDER FORTY 2020 AWARD WINNER Jeffrey Thomas, 37 | Vice president of human resources, contact center and distribution, Luxury Brand Holdings Inc.
How has COVID-19 impacted your work-life balance? I’ve spent a lot of time trail riding on my mountain bike with family, enjoying takeout food to support local Westerly restaurants and having fun Jet Skiing on the ocean.
What is the best advice you have ever received? The value of saying “thank you.” It’s a simple sign of respect. If we do not express gratitude, we show that we don’t care about the other person. People deserve recognition and respect for the deeds they do.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self? Never give up on your dreams; challenge yourself every day; the power of listening will get you far in life.
What is your greatest attribute that you bring to your job? I am a “change agent.” As an HR executive, I’m always challenging the status quo and looking for ways to streamline and automate processes through technology and people.
Fox or MSNBC? Neither. ESPN.
