John Gillespie Jr., senior vice president of planning and marketing for Lifespan, has been named president of R.I. Free Clinic’s board of directors. He will lead a board of 16 people with the executive director and more than 150 volunteers who staff the clinic. Gillespie is a board member of the Red Cross, Providence Foundation and the Local Initiatives Support Corporation.
