John V. DeGoes has been elected chairman of the board of directors at Credit Union Central Falls.
A former educator and administrator in the Cumberland public schools, he had also served as schools superintendent in Central Falls and East Providence.
He recently retired as assistant superintendent of the North Attleboro School Department.
