Joseph P. Hindle has been named commercial real estate lender at Bank Rhode Island.
He is a senior vice president of BankRI, where he has served as head of small business lending since 1996.
In his new role, he will generate new commercial real estate loans, collect deposits and fees and handle day-to-day administration of his existing portfolio.
Hindle was named the 2006 Financial Services Champion of the Year by the local office of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
