MIDDLETOWN – KVH Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: KVHI) today announced plans to unveil the TracVision M9, for vessels 80 feet and longer, at this week’s West Palm Beach (Fla.) Boat Show. Prices are not yet available.
The M9 is an HDTV-ready satellite TV system for commercial and recreational vessels that includes integrated GPS and support for regional satellite TV systems worldwide.
Compact mechanicals allow the 32-inch antenna to be housed in a dome 35 percent smaller than those of competing systems, and the system supports multiple TVs and receivers, “so everyone onboard can enjoy the TV programs they want,” KVH added.
