Michael P. Jolin Esq. has been sworn in as a member of the Rhode Island Bar. A tax associate at Tillinghast Licht Perkins Smith & Cohen, LLP of Providence, he is also admitted to practice law in Illinois as well as the United States Tax Court and the United States District Court for the District of Northern Illinois. He is a federally authorized practitioner before the Internal Revenue Service. Jolin is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in economics and Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Previously he was tax manager for Ernst & Young in Chicago where he represented clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the United States Tax Court. He is a resident of Pawtucket.
