Linda Hall has been promoted to vice president of compliance and security at NewportFed. Her new position will encompass the roles of compliance-program administrator, AML/BSA officer and security officer, which she has held since joining the bank in 2008. She is a member of the Rhode Island Fraud Investigators Association and the Rhode Island Bankers Association. •
