Jeanne Cormier has been named director, taxes at Teknor Apex Company of Pawtucket. Her responsibilities will include managing all tax compliance and planning functions of the company as well as directing the corporate payroll department. She joined Teknor Apex in 1989 as senior tax accountant and was promoted to manager, taxes and treasury services in 1994. She was formerly employed at ER Alger and Company in Cumberland and Peat, Marwick, Mitchell and Company in Providence. Cormier is a certified public accountant and a member of the supervisory committee of Dexter Credit Union. She received her bachelor of science degree in business administration with a major in accounting from Bryant College. She resides in Cumberland with her husband and son.
