Marie Thomas-Everett has been named to the board of directors at Visiting Nurse Services of Newport and Bristol counties. She currently serves as branch manager for Peoples Credit Union and has more than 25 years of banking experience. Prior to joining People’s Credit Union, Everett was vice president and regional sales manager for FirstFed Bank. She has a B.A. in accounting from Bryant University. •
