Mark Gibson has been appointed chief marketing officer for Rockland Trust. He has more than 30 years of experience, including his most recent position as chief marketing officer for NewAlliance Bank. He also held a similar role for 13 years at BBVA Compass in Birmingham, Ala. Gibson will now be responsible for directing Rockland’s brand strategy, communications, product management and website. •
