Mary-Kim Arnold has been named executive director of the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities, an independent affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.
She was selected in a nationwide search, and will report to a 25-member board of governors.
Arnold is currently director of regional and multicultural programs in Brown University’s office of alumni relations.
