Matthew Whalen has been named senior vice president and chief technology officer at GTECH Corp. In his new role, he will be responsible for providing overall technology leadership and strategy for the company. Whalen has been with GTECH since 1994. Most recently he served as senior vice president, global technology solutions. ̶ •
