Noting that all travel-related business are facing diffiult times, Mayor Vincent Cianci, Jr. has asked Rhode Island’s congressional delegation to seek federal aid for travel agencies.
According to a press release from the Mayor’s office, “Mayor Cianci said that his appeal is an initiative taken in correspondence with his establishment of the Mayor’s Task Force on Tourism and Hospitality, a task force created to make recommendations for improving Providence’s competitive position as it related to tourism.”
