Michael Mitchell joined Southcoast Primary Care in the practice of internal medicine. He practices at 543 North St. in New Bedford and is on the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital. Mitchell has a special interest in the treatment of diabetes and the prevention of related medical complications. He is a member of the American Medical Association and the American College of Physicians. Mitchell earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and his medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester. He and his family live in Fairhaven, Mass.
