Mieko Kamii has been named dean of the school of education at Roger Williams University.
She was previously a faculty member at Wheelock College in Boston for 26 years, working in the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Education and Child Life.
She has a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College in Oberlin, Ohio, and a master’s degree and doctorate in education from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education.
