PROVIDENCE – R.I. Secretary of State A. Ralph Mollis and the R.I. Economic Development Corporation will sponsor a seminar on June 18 aimed at helping small businesses target potential customers.
Part of the “We Mean Business” initiative, the seminar will include a presentation by Brian Butler of Providence-based marketing group The Allied Group from 9 to 10:30 a.m. The free workshop will focus on a variety of selling techniques, including assisting business people with customized marketing programs to increase sales and retain more customers.
“We Mean Business” is a joint venture between the Secretary of State’s First Stop Business Information Center and Every Company Counts and EDC. •
