PROVIDENCE – Narragansett Brewing Co. was named among the largest craft brewers by sales volume in the nation by the Brewers Association trade group this week.
Narragansett Brewing ranked No. 32 among craft brewers for sales volume and No. 42 among all brewers in the nation in 2018. Last year, Narragansett Brewing ranked No. 34 among craft brewers.
D.G. Yuengling & Son Inc. ranked highest among craft brewers, followed by Boston Beer Co. Narragansett was the only brewery on the Top 50 list in the Providence metropolitan area.
Anheuser-Busch Inc. ranked no. 1 overall for beer sales volume among all U.S. brewing companies.
