A new stamp, part of the U.S. Post Office’s “Greetings from America” series, will be unveiled today at the State House rotunda.
Gov. Lincoln Almond will preside over the first day of issue ceremony at 11 a.m.
As part of the “Greetings from America” series each state, including Rhode Island, will have its own unique design. The “Greetings from Rhode Island” stamp includes a drawing of a sailboat in front of the Block
Island lighthouse.
