Michael J. Delaney has been promoted to managing editor for visuals in the news department of the Providence Journal Company. He has previously served as assistant managing editor for visuals, chief visuals editor and chief photographer, photo laboratory technician, picture editor and department assistant at the newspaper. Delaney was formerly employed at the Miami News in Florida. He graduated from Providence College in 1978 and is a resident of Lincoln.
