Samani N. Kim has been named marketing assistant at Rhode Island Monthly Communications, Inc., a subsidiary of the Providence Journal Company. She will be responsible for supporting the magazine’s marketing manager. Kim was formerly employed as marketing assistant at the Bristol County Savings Bank and on-air talent for the Rhode Island Lottery. A graduate of Rhode Island College, she resides in Providence.
