BOSTON – Under pressure from Mayor Thomas Menino’s stated disappointment with the shortage of bookings at the Massachusetts Convention Center, the convention center authority chairwoman Gloria Larson announced a full-scale review of her agency’s $3.7 million marketing contract with the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Larson told the Boston Globe that the review would consider all options, including giving the marketing contract to a private company or returning all sales operations to the convention center authority.
