Rhode Island grants $38.7M to help produce 147 affordable homes

RHODE ISLAND on Thursday awarded $38.7 million that will support the production of 147 affordable homes across the state. The funding, announced by Gov. Daniel J. McKee, R.I. Executive Office of Housing and the R.I. Housing and Mortgage Finance Corp., is the final wave of awards from the state’s 2026 consolidated One Stop housing funding round.
