CUMBERLAND – Construction has wrapped up at the new U.S. headquarters of PolyRack North America Corp., a division of Germany-based PolyRack Tech-Group.
The $2.38 million, 13,800-square-foot facility was designed and constructed through a partnership between Providence-based Vision 3 Architects and East Providence-based New England Construction. Representatives of both companies traveled to PolyRack’s German headquarters to get firsthand experience of its “corporate identity,” PolyRack President Andreas Rapp said in a statement this week.
PolyRack specializes in the design and manufacture of customer computer housings. And the Rhode Island companies’ willingness to get involved with PolyRack’s branding imagery resulted in a “building we could identify with,” Rapp said.
The one-story building – in Cumberland’s Highland Corporate Park, a site the company selected in 2006 (READ MORE – uses exterior metal paneling, concrete masonry and aluminum glazing systems to create a “modern, industrial design” that creates “an image consistent with the high-tech products that PolyRack produces,” the company said.
